Paducah, KY – Paducah's Police Department debuted its new internal software program to city officials yesterday. The new software improves internal communication by preventing duplications and reduces the amount of paper used by the department. The software was written in-house by Network Administrator Eric Stuber and comes with no maintenance contracts or future development, which saves the city an estimated $30,000. Officers can now view and input departmental information from the city's wireless hotspots instead of filing daily logs in a three-ring binder.
