Murray, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear announced more funding today for the state's Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Communities across the state will share 27 million dollars in federal funding. That brings the total for this fiscal year to 61 million dollars. The program helped over three hundred thousand Kentuckians last year and Beshear expects the additional funds to help more families during this year's unusually cold winter.
