Clarksville, TN – A former Austin Peay State University student who allegedly wrote a threatening letter addressed to the institution has submitted himself for a voluntary mental health evaluation. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents spoke to 33-year-old Cliff Guthrie and later took him to Gateway Medical Center. He has not been charged with any crime, nor is he in police custody. Austin Peay has given Guthrie a criminal trespass warning, which bans him from campus property.
