Clarksville, TN – A former Clarksville youth minister pleaded guilty today to statutory rape of a 17-year-old member of his youth group. The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reports Jonathan Tyler Giles was the youth minister at Spring Creek Baptist Church. He pled guilty to one count of solicitation, and two counts of statutory rape. Police say Giles also had inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old, and sent inappropriate text messages to several girls in his youth group.
