Paducah, KY – Two residential holdouts are all that stand in the way of the Paducah School Districts' plan to build a new Middle School campus. Officials have reached agreements with the owners of 30 neighboring properties. School Board Attorney Mark Whitlow tells the Paducah Sun in both holdout cases, the owners are seeking more money than their homes are appraised for. Whitlow plans to submit litigation notices tomorrow to the McCracken Circuit Court and hopes to acquire the remaining property within the next month and a half.
