Elizabethtown, KY – The program is called Super Sunday and KCTCS colleges across the commonwealth will be participating in the event on February 27th. Mary Jo King is a spokesperson for Elizabethtown Community and Technical College which will be participating.
"African American populations have had a lower college going rate than others and it's important that we reach out and do what we can to improve those college-going rates for those populations."
KCTCS will partner with African American churches in Kentucky to reach out to students and their parents about the role higher education can play. More information on Super Sunday can be found online at KCTCS.edu.
