Madisonville, KY – Kentucky Transportation officials have scheduled a public meeting next week to discuss proposed road-widening work to College Drive in Madisonville. The project's proposal created a stir in the community last year, upsetting some residents who say the work is unneeded. The mile-long, single-lane highway connects US-41 to the Madisonville Community College campus. The meeting is scheduled to be held next Tuesday evening (6:00 pm) at Madisonville North Hopkins High School.
