Clarksville, TN – Retail sales in Clarksville and Montgomery County were up over 2009 figures according to the latest local sales tax data. County Trustee Brenda Radford tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle tax collections for January which reflect spending in November totaled almost $4 million; that's about $60,000 over the previous year.
