Bowling Green, KY – An initial vote to ban smoking city-wide in Bowling Green passed 3 to 2 among City Commissioners Tuesday night. The ban would prohibit smoking in all public and work places. The final vote on the measure is Monday. If city commissioners approve it, the smoking ban will take effect 90 days later. The Kentucky General Assembly is considering a statewide smoking ban this session.
