Paducah, KY – McCracken County Commissioner Jerry Beyer yesterday publicly thanked Western Baptist Hospital emergency medical staff for their efforts helping him to recover from a stroke earlier this month. He presented staff with cookies and a donation to help continue the hospital's stroke awareness television campaign. Beyer says he'll never forget those who help him in his speedy recovery and stressed the importance of knowing the symptoms of stroke, so it can be treated in time.
