Murray, KY – National Weather Service forecasters expect three to four inches of snowfall for the area tonight and tomorrow morning. Paducah NWS Meteorologist Dan Spaeth expects the snow to cover most of western Kentucky.
"Well, it's going to affect the entire region all the way from the south of you through the Pennyrile where they may see a little bit of wider amounts (down around 2 inches perhaps) down toward the Madisonville-Hopkinsville area. Areas to your north, say north of I-64, could see four inches or more even."
Spaeth says the snow may stay through the weekend, but that ice is not likely anytime soon.
