Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation plans to detonate part of the Clarksville bridge over the Red River on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard this evening. Workers will detonate explosives at 8:00 pm to demolish the southbound bridge's concrete columns. Traffic along Wilma Rudolph Boulevard will be stopped for about five minutes while the blast takes place.
