Hopkinsville, KY – The Pennyroyal Center plans to open a mental health and drug abuse clinic in Oak Grove. Pennyroyal Public Information Coordinator Tim Golden says they decided to open the branch to primarily serve former military personnel and their families. He says the organization has been looking at the need for more mental health services near Fort Campbell for a couple of years. Golden says due to a lack of staff, they will start small at Oak Grove and grow as needed. The Pennyroyal Center provides mental health services at four locations in Christian, Muhlenberg, Caldwell, and Hopkins counties.
