Murray, KY – A winter weather advisory is effect until 6 o'clock tonight for portions of western Kentucky, southern Illinois, and southeast Missouri. As winter weather moves in from the west this morning and into this afternoon, snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are likely, but higher amounts in isolated areas can't be ruled out. The impact on travel will be significant, with snow, particularly on secondary or lesser traveled roads, making for hazardous travel conditions. As you get out on the roads today, be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility and allow plenty of time to get to your destination.
