Shawneetown, IL – Illinois road crews report a crash on Illinois Route 13 in their end of the Shawneetown Bridge. They have asked KYTC to close KY 56 at the Ohio River in Union County. Estimated closure time four hours. The Shawneetown Bridge connects KY 56 at the 0 mile marker with Illinois Route 13 across the Ohio River between Morganfield, Kentucky, and Shawneetown, Illinois. About 3800 vehicles cross the bridge in an average day.
