Paris, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation's plan to widen Highway 641 from Puryear to Paris has been pushed back at least 18 months. The Paris Post-Intelligencer reports despite setbacks the plan remains on the state's agenda. Since the last public hearing on the issue in September 2009, engineers have changed the project at the beginning and the end of the road plan. The plan now includes to start the widening at Wood Street at the southwest corner of the Paris court square The end point is now at Crossland Road/Brannon Lane about two miles north of Puryear.
