Hopkinsville, KY – Kentucky's only remaining juvenile drug court will likely keep running despite state funding cuts. The Kentucky New Era reports Christian County is ten thousand dollars away from reaching a full year's operating expenses. The state ended funding for the Christian County Juvenile Drug Court last month. Officials have received donations from the League of Women Voters and Walmart, as well as local appropriations. The program provides treatment to prevent repeat drug offenses.
