Madisonville, KY – Continued development of the I-69 corridor through western Kentucky dominated yesterday's Chambers of Commerce Annual Luncheon in Madisonville. Keynote Speaker Michael Pape says I-69 will enhance economic development in Hopkins County. Pape is District Director for Congressman Ed Whitfield. He stood in for the Congressman, who was stuck in Washington due to bad weather. Pape says Whitfield plans to seek funding for the project during this legislative session. The Madisonville Messenger reports Chamber officials also named Trover Health System as Business of the Year.
