Madisonville, KY – The Hopkins County Fiscal Court has approved a 1.5% pay raise for magistrates. Tuesday's vote raises each member's salary $270 for the fiscal year. The Madisonville Messenger reports the measure passed 5-2. Magistrates currently make $18,000 per year with no reimbursement for traveling on county business.
