Clarksville, TN – Some Clarksville city employees will get a pay increase. The city council last night voted through the final reading of a measure to give 2.7 million dollars in pay raises to employees who were underpaid. The measure applies to sixty percent of employees. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the council also approved a stipend of up to two percent for employees. This is the first city employee pay increase in over two years.
