Meteorologist Says Snow Wednesday More Predictable

By Angela Hatton

Paducah, KY – Forecasters expect one to three inches of snow tomorrow for our area. McCracken County Emergency Management Meteorologist Beau Dodson says that forecast is not likely to change significantly. A system Monday dropped as much as ten inches in some counties. That was more than triple the expected amount. Dodson says the Wednesday system is following more traditional models.

"Obviously this time of year in our area as everyone knows the track of the low pressure is key to how much snow we get. And if it tracks further north we'll have to up the snow totals, but right now this data's been pretty consistent showing the snow tracking farther south."

Dodson says the system will also bring cold temperatures, with lows in the teens for western Kentucky and near zero in Southern Illinois.
