Paducah, KY – Snow will likely continue to blanket much of the region this week. McCracken County Emergency Management Meteorologist Beau Dodson says between one and three inches of snow could fall Wednesday. This will add to between four and eight inches that fell across the region yesterday. Dodson says the temperature are likely to drop later this week too.
"We are looking for an arctic outbreak this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday which basically means colder air will pour back through the area. Would not be surprised to see parts of Illinois, Missouri below zero come Thursday morning. Parts of Kentucky definitely in the single digits."
Dodson says temperatures will warm up next week. Forecasts show temperatures in the mid to upper forties.
