Jackson, TN – Counties in Northwest Tennessee have also seen heavy snow. Transportation Department Spokesperson Nicole Lawrence says a crew of eight to twelve people is out in each county clearing roads. Lawrence says they plan to re-salt main roadways this afternoon and evening. They may move to secondary routes, but the department continues to conserve salt supplies. Lawrence says crews will be out all night and expect more accidents tomorrow morning as wet roads turn icy.
