Hopkinsville, KY – An international auto parts manufacturer plans to open a Hopkinsville plant that will employ 80 workers by mid-summer. Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear made the announcement there yesterday the Commonwealth will give Japanese-based Denso Air Systems over $4 million in tax incentives. The company will be moving an operation into a vacant Commerce Park plant, which will manufacture aluminum pipes, tubes and hoses for a number of top carmakers. The Kentucky New Era reports the plant will eventually employ 105 people.
