Clarksville, TN – A make shift meth lab may be to blame for a Clarksville hotel fire. One man suffered second and third degree burns during the fire which damage 13 other hotel rooms. Police responded to a fire alarm Tuesday night at the Value Place Inn, where they found the man trying to cool himself in the snow outside the hotel. The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reports officers searched the man's room and found a burned bathtub, camp fuel, and the remains of a plastic Coke bottle. Crews took the man to Vanderbilt Medical Center. His condition is unknown. This is the second meth lab bust at a hotel in Clarksville in the past few months. A bust in December uncovered forty small meth labs at Vacation Motor Hotel. The majority were in an abandoned section of the motel.
