Fort Campbell, KY – In the largest return flight from Afghanistan yet, 342 Fort Campbell soldiers returned home last night. 201 service members are part of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade and 141 are part of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team. The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle reports a reception at Campbell Army Airfield nearly filled a hangar to capacity with family and friends welcoming the troops home.
