Clarksville, TN – Police evacuated a Clarksville neighborhood yesterday after a woman reported she brought home a bomb she found in a Montgomery County field. Fort Campbell's Explosive Ordinance Division determined the device is a World War II era practice bomb and isn't dangerous. Sheriff's Spokesman Ted Denny tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle if people find a suspicious item that could be a bomb; they shouldn't transport it, especially into a populated area, but instead should contact authorities.
