Murray, KY – A Puryear man faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, assault and theft after allegedly holding a woman hostage in her home earlier this week. Monte C. Taylor was arrested at his home Wednesday. Police say Taylor locked the woman in her home for three days and refused to let her leave. When the hostage attempted to escape Taylor tasered her multiple times. The victim escaped to a neighbor's home Tuesday morning. She suffered a black eye but no serious injuries. Taylor remains in the Henry County Jail on bond.
