Murray, KY – A Murray man faces arson charges in connection to an August 2009 house fire. Police say 39-year-old Michael Lax had been attempting to cover up evidence of theft by setting the safe on fire. No one was injured in the blaze. Lax is being held at Calloway County Jail on one-hundred-thousand dollar cash bond.
