Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioners and Mayor Bill Paxton approved an ordinance yesterday to fund a Barbeque on the River store. Paducah entered into a one-year contract with the organization for $20,000 to subsidize construction of a retail store to be named "BBQ & More." The outlet will sell local Barbeque vendors' sauces and rubs and other merchandise. Commissioner Carol Gault abstained from the vote citing a conflict of interest since she serves on the Barbeque on the River board.
