Murray, KY – The Murray State University Board of Regents voted to amend the university retirement program at its regular meeting today. Board Vice Chair Bill Adams was the only opposition to the change. The amendment will factor unused sick and leave time to an employee's retirement compensation. Murray State was the only public university in Kentucky that did not have the provision. The board also updated its Information Technology policy and approved a new graduate degree option, Library Education Master of Arts. The next Board of Regents meeting is May 20.
