Frankfort, KY – A Kentucky survey of public school teachers and principals brought in over one thousand responses in its first day. The Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning or TELL survey asks teachers to give honest opinions on academics, facilities, and overall working conditions. Responses are accepted through March 25. State Education Department spokesperson Lisa Gross says the surveys are anonymous. Kentucky has over 42,000 public school teachers and fifteen hundred principals. Schools that show over fifty percent participation will be eligible for cash incentive drawings.
