DUI-Manslaughter Brings 10 Year Sentence

By Chris Taylor

Benton, KY – A Marshall County man who pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing a wreck that killed his passenger will serve a 10 year prison sentence. 32-year-old Brad Chandler was sentenced in court yesterday for DUI and second-degree manslaughter charges for the death of his best friend 32-year-old Charlie Chancellor. The Paducah Sun reports Chandler's attorney plans to file for shock probation within the next month. If unsuccessful, Chandler will be eligible for parole within a year and a half.
