Paducah, KY – The woman whose two-year-old son was found lying injured on Interstate 24 in Marshall County last week could face attempted murder charges. Police believe 29-year-old Cynthia Palmer hit the child with a folding stool while under the hallucinating effects of snorting bath salts. Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blankenship tells the Paducah Sun after hearing State Police testimony he may ask a grand jury to consider the charge. Her two-year-old, Austin, has recovered from emergency surgery where skull fractures exposed his brain.
