Melber, KY – The state Fire Marshal's Office has yet to determine what caused a mid-February fire that destroyed much of the Talon Falls Halloween attraction near Melber. The fire destroyed the site's main attraction but left two other attractions unharmed. Owner Todd Ferren last weekend opened those attractions to raise money to rebuild. Fire Marshal's Lead Investigator Bill Compton says he hopes to wrap up the investigation soon and would not comment to the Paducah Sun if he has ruled out arson. Compton cites the scene's two and a half acre size for the prolonged investigation.
