Union City, Tenn. – In Tennessee, Union City's regional airport is among 14 airports statewide to share $6,690,332 in federal and state aeronautics grants. The Everett-Stewart Regional Airport, jointly operated by Obion and Weakley Counties, gets $336,000. The money will go toward closing underground storage fuel tanks, constructing a taxilane connector from a fuel ramp, and the purchase of grounds maintenance equipment.
