Paducah, KY – The city of Paducah remains in the lead in online voting for the National Trust for Historic Place's 2011 Fan Favorite Destination. The city is three percentage points ahead of Sheridan, Wyoming. The National Trust named Paducah one of its annual Dozen Distinctive Destinations in February. Visitors Bureau Marketing Director Rosemarie Steele says winning Fan Favorite would mean an extra PR push from the National Trust. Among other perks, the city would also get a one year free membership to Gozaic, an online site which promotes heritage travel. Voting ends at midnight tonight.
