Paris, TN – A Henry County, Tennessee Judge yesterday sentenced a man to serve life in prison without possibility of parole after he pleaded guilty to murdering a Buchanan couple. 31-year-old Edward Michael Taylor reached a plea agreement to avoid the death penalty. Taylor will be consecutively serving two life sentences for killing Kenneth and Barbara Walker in December and an additional 25 years for an especially aggravated kidnapping charge. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports members of the victims' family in court expressed pain, forgiveness and even thanked Taylor for confessing instead of drawing the family through a trial.
