Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Valley Authority's monthly fuel cost adjustment will drop by up to $2 for average home customers during the April billing cycle. The change is due partly to an accounting adjustment. TVA says the newly named total monthly fuel cost' reflects over a one percent decline in the utility's total average wholesale price per kilowatt hour, compared to this month's billing cycle. The decline stems partly from changing to a calendar-month-based system in TVA's fuel accounts.
