Lexington, KY – The University of Kentucky will take on West Virginia Saturday in the third round of the NCAA tournament. It's the re-match UK basketball fans have been waiting for since the Wildcats were bumped from the Elite 8 last year. Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins says John Calipari had a feeling this meeting would happen.
"This year, I'm sitting there, and at one minute after six I get a text from Cal. It says you know we're going to play again.' And I texted him back, I said no way.' He says I'm telling you we're going to play again.' So either Cal's got someone on the inside or he's clairvoyant."
Saturday's tipoff is scheduled for 11:15 PM on CBS. Morehead State will also play tomorrow. Morehead upset Louisville in tournament play. The Eagles will face another upset team, University of Richmond. The match-up starts at 4:15 tomorrow afternoon.
