Princeton, KY – Environmental crews have finished cleaning up the site of a chemical spill in Caldwell County. Thirty-five-year-old Charles Wilkerson of Dawson Springs lost control of his Mack truck and overturned on KY 91 this morning. The truck was hauling explosive chemicals, including ammonia nitrate, emulsifier, and blasting caps. Police closed the road three miles north of Princeton until mid-afternoon. Wilkerson was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center for treatment. The Environmental Protection Agency oversaw the cleanup.
