Bowling Green, KY – School administrators from across the commonwealth will be learning about energy-efficient buildings this week. A two-day workshop in Bowling Green will focus on ways to save energy. Pam proctor of the Kentucky National Energy Education Development Project says efficient buildings are also teaching tools.
"To take full advantage of both the building project and the building, once it's up and running. Use it as a living textbook. Teachers can teach some hard science lessons by looking at the building."
Proctor says those attending the workshop will tour some area schools that have adopted energy-saving concepts. More than one hundred school administrators will attend the workshop.
