Paducah, KY – Cable channel CNBC and Yahoo! Travel have named Paducah as one of nine American "Time Warp Towns." Those are destinations described as out-of-time discoveries that make for road trip gold. Paducah Convention and Visitor's Bureau spokeswoman Rosemarie Steele says Paducah is favorable because of its preservation efforts and creative economy. This is Paducah's second national designation as a tourist destination this month. It won top honors last week as Fan Favorite in the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Distinctive Destinations competition.
