Paris, TN – The earthquake and tsunami in Japan have delayed the distribution of the Nissan Leaf in Kentucky. Hudson-Ford Nissan of Madisonville spokesperson Lisa Moberly says plans to release the car in the commonwealth are on hold right now. Tennessee's Nissan dealerships are taking preorders for the car, but only for Tennessee residents. Many dealerships in the state have also installed electric charging stations ahead of the Leaf's release.
