Mayfield, KY – A man scheduled to go on trial today for the 2008 murder of a Mayfield woman instead accepted a plea deal yesterday for a reduced sentence. 46-year-old Tony Green will serve a 12-year prison sentence for second-degree manslaughter in the death of Delilah Blair. Police allege Green strangled Blair to death. The Paducah Sun reports Green contends he's innocent and is taking the deal to be able to see his family again.
