McKinnon, TN – A Houston County, Tennessee fire station in McKinnon burned to the ground late Monday night. The blaze also destroyed two trucks. The scene is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal's Office and the cause has yet to be determined. Fire Chief David Hardin tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle he's unsure if the fire is related to a string of six fires over the weekend that destroyed a vacant home, an abandoned Erin motel, three barns and a trailer. Fire response in the McKinnon area will now be covered by the department's Tennessee Ridge station.
