Frankfort, KY – Kentuckians who want to take the GED test can do so without having to pay the $55 fee for the next few months. Kentucky Adult Education, part of the Council on Postsecondary Education, will pick up the tab through June 30. Students have to successfully complete an official practice test before taking the GED test. Officials warn against offers allowing students to take the test online. The GED test can only be taken at official sites.
