Paducah, KY – McCracken County Clerk Jeff Jerrell is being criticized for installing security cameras in his courthouse offices without letting Fiscal Court members know. Deputy Judge-Executive Doug Harnice says camera placement should be vetted by other officials because of privacy issues. Jerrell tells the Paducah Sun the three cameras have been paid for through his office's funds and three more are scheduled to be installed. According to Sheriff's deputies, Jerrell is within his legal rights to install the cameras.
