Pembroke. KY – At least ten people were hurt during severe storms Monday. Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says seven had minor injuries after a possible tornado struck the TGASK plant near Pembroke. Graham says the building had around 120 people in it at the time.
"It appears to be tornadic in nature, and also some other areas around it. Homes with minor damage, barns, and workshops and that kind of thing out in the county."
National Weather Service representatives are investigating another possible tornado in Ballard County. Crews there rescued one man who was trapped under a collapsed barn. In Muhlenberg County, severe winds damaged and partially destroyed a trailer park west of Greenville. Two residents suffered minor injuries.
