Paducah, KY – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials continue their investigation into a Saturday boating incident at Kentucky Dam that claimed the lives of two fishermen. 64-year-old Ray Herman of Campbellsburg and 44-year-old Andy Myers of Louisville drowned when their boat overturned near an open spillway gate beneath the dam. A third fisherman in the boat was able to swim away and was rescued. The man, who was not identified, was later taken to Vanderbilt Hospital. According to the Paducah Sun, the two drowning victims were found not to be wearing life jackets. The third man was wearing a life preserver when he was rescued.
